Emotion Code/Messianic Messages,
or, Happy Hanukkah and Kiss Your Ass Good-Bye

Date: 12-05-10
Host: George Noory
Guests: Dr. Bradley Nelson, Rabbi Moshe Yess

During hour one, George reads the news: paypal is censoring wikileaks, Iran can refine its own uranium now and Charles Manson had a secret cell phone under his prison bunk and made calls and sent text messages to British Columbia, California, New Jersey and Florida (no speculation whether he ordered the hit on Hollywood publicist Ronnie Chasen, though). In other news, three Russian spacecraft which were supposed to put the finishing touches on the Russian GPS system crashed into the Pacific, and a German man has been arrested for sending tarantulas through the mail.

George speaks with Dr. Bradley Nelson who talks about his book The Emotion Code during the remainder of hour one, and Nelson tells a horse story and takes calls during hour two.

During hour three, George welcomes back Rabbi Moshe Yess (myess@yahoo.com), a past guest on Coast to Coast, who talks about Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the end of the world and the Messiah.

Rabbi Yess took a one-way trip to Jerusalem in 1978 to study at a rabbinical training yeshiva, which he did for seven years. In 1991 Rabbi Yess came to a startling conclusion about the identity of the Messiah.

Rabbi Yess explains that Rabbi Schneerson assumed leadership of the Chassidic group Chabad Lubavitch in the early 1950s and brought about the "greatest Renaissance" in Jewish religious observance in the history of Judaism. In 1991 his followers calculated Rabbi Schneerson's overall global effect over the four decades of leadership, and decided it met preliminary requirements for Messiahship. Rabbi Yess recalls the signs from sacred Jewish sources for the advent of the Messianic Age: wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the rise of Taliban terrorists, references to wars between the Christian West and Iran and, most significantly for Rabbi Yess, the Shoemaker-Levy 9 comet that slammed into Jupiter in 1994, seemingly referenced in Jewish Kabbala (in certain interpretations of the Zohar) as the heavenly announcement of the arrival of the Messiah in Judaism. Although Rabbi Schneerson died in 1994, Rabbi Yess contends there are 13 passages in sacred Jewish literature telling of the initial revelation and passing away of the Messiah to be followed by his return to fulfill Jewish law.

During hour four Rabbi Moshe Yess tells about the coming future without evil when Israel will expand to its Biblical boundaries (Nile to Euphrates) and the whole Middle East will be called Jerusalem, then takes calls. David in Las Vegas asks Rabbi Yess if the government wants to steal his free energy machine that runs on magnets. Rabbi Yess says governments want total control. Troy, driving a truck in Maryland, points out the four horsemen in the Apocalypse of John are reflected in the Old Testament in the Book of Zachariah, Chapter 14, which describes four chariots drawn by horses of different colors. Troy also notes that the "pale" horses in both prophecies are actually light green. Rabbi Yess says there might be a relationship, but that the Jewish Bible--the first five books of Moses or the Torah, and the Book of Prophets and their writings--doesn't have any terrifying, blood-curdling image of the four horsemen of the apocalypse as Christianity does.

"Bob" in Stockton calls in to denounce rabbinical/talmudic Judaism and says it's hypocritical for Rabbi Yess to talk about holiness because Israelis are oppressing and killing Palestinians. Rabbi Yess counters the accusations are not based on reality and the Talmud is available in English on-line (sacred-texts.com), and that it is not a secret document. George asks the Rabbi about a possible solution to the Palestinian/Israeli conflict, and Rabbi Yess says it will require divine intervention. George asks about the Rothschild family "Bob" mentioned, and questions whether they even practice Judaism. Rabbi Yess responds that there are many Jews who do not practice orthodox Judaism, but that there is a growing movement among Jews to return to the beliefs and practices of Judaism.

David in Ontario calls in on the skype line and says his great-great-great-grandfather, Rebbe Solaveichik, was a kabbalist who did quantum physics 100 years ago. David says there is an esoteric base to all religions, including Judaism, but that over the past thousand years Judaic traditions have been passed down less than other esoteric traditions, "from one person to one person." David says the teachings of Baal Shem Tov and mystical Judaism--equal to Sufism and the best of Buddhism and Taoism--are more accessible now, thanks to the internet.

In closing, the Rabbi expresses both concern about the present moral state and hope for the future of the State of Israel. Rabbi Yess also says the promise of Isaiah Chapter 60, "I will make a new heavens and a new earth," will come about literally. He says diverse groups around the world are all undergoing an awakening to the coming of a perfected world, but that belief in a global ruling elite--the Illuminati--is not what the coming Messianic Age is about.
