Divine Horsemen is a documentary composed of footage shot by Maya Deren between 1947 and 1952 of Haitian voodoo rituals. Features "possession," chicken sacrifices, dancing and more.

The footage is from the dates listed, but it apparently wasn't cut together into this documentary until 1985. There's More at wikipedia.
