Tonight Alex brings a special report that covers the media, especially so television, and the process of desensitisation as well as the degradation of truth by what is and what is not permitted on screen compared to just a few years ago. Alex speaks about how violence shown on television these days is more likely to be what wasn't allowed in the past, that is simulated violence, and that more and more documentary evidence is not allowed on screen due to its current politic nature. Such an example used, amoungst others, is the self-immolation (burning) of Thich Quang Duc in Saigon, 1967.

While looking at media manipulation the topic flows in to the media blackout on Gaddafi's assassination, Libyan Rebels guilty of murder, as well as NATO forces, along with Africom connections and the amount deaths in Libya, all being brushed aside by the mainstream media. Also covered is the police brutality being ignored by the media, particularly recently within the Occupy Wall Street movement. Alex also covers news that Youtube are increasingly removing content at the governments request, even for material simply being critical of said government.
