Lady Queenborough (Edith Starr Miller) - "Occult Theocrasy" [Theocracy] (1933); ("a monumental expose of secret societies worldwide").
776 pages covering the two volumes of the original hard copies and OCR nicely done by the originator.
This is NOT my torrent but a refresh of redgonzo's torrent of 20 January, 2007 (sole tracker conspiracycentral), now suffering a precarious existence at torrentportal which said last time I looked: "Bad Parse/No Torrent on Tracker". There may be some technically more deft way of fixing the tracker(s) which is beyond me, anyway it seemed worthy of upload to its spiritual home, ConCen.
The information in quotes below is from redgonzo's torrent description.
"This is Edith Starr Miller's very rare and monumental book Occult Theocracy (or Theocrasy) (1933) which is one of the biggest exposes of various secret societies worldwide as their activities are being tracked for the last several centuries back in time.
Noteworthy in the historiography of conspiracy theory, Edith Starr Miller (alias Lady Queenborough) is a widely quoted yet little known figure. She does a excellent of exposing many cults and secret societies which makes this book a tour-de-force guide to all conspiracies and cults through the history to the 1930's. Quoted in hundreds of books it provides the reader with a priceless reference book on just about any noteworthy secret society alive in a certain historical period.
From early groups such as Egyptian mysteries, Pharisees and Druids through Assassins, Knights Templar, Rosicrucians and Jesuits to modern Freemasons, Knights of Columbus, Theosophists, Illuminati and many many others. Originally published for private circulation only and long out-of-print it is now available to interested readers worldwide. Occult Theocracy is not to be missed by anyone interested into the philosophical and political underground currents of history which are usually always left out of historical books either because they are simply so unbelievable to be true or they exert such a despotic influence on the society that nobody dares to challenge them. Not so in this mammoth work which simply challenges them all.
775 pages, some pictures. A must read for everyone."
In addition to the secret societies typically covered in similar works, taken at random are some more unusual groups or movements that are covered here:
--The Yezidees (Devil Worshippers);
--The Convulsionaries of St. Médard;
--The Hetairia of Greece (Etherists);
--The Independent Order of Oddfellows;
--The Young Turk Movement;
--The New History Society.
