The Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC) is an American committee formed in 1985. The committee was founded by four women: Tipper Gore, Susan Baker, Pam Howar, and Sally Nevius, wife of Washington City Council Chairman John Nevius. They were known as the "Washington wives" – a reference to their husbands' connections with government in D.C.

The front and back images tell a much better story than I could.

Not entirely entertaining - mostly a slideshow of hilarious offensive rockers doing offensive things, album covers and their supposed secret meanings (but not as bad as religious groups, mind you!), and more evidence assembled to ensure you never let your kid (or live-in adult) near another Judas Priest or David Lee Roth LP ever again!
