Still true is a compilation which celebrates the life, work and comedy of Bill Hicks. This under-appreciated, outspoken and highly political comic died on february 26th, 1994, and yet so much of what he spoke of more than a decade ago is Still True today.
This collection assembles some of Bill's most relevant and prophetic works into a single DVD, including studio albums, bootlegs recordings, telvision appearences, radio and television interviews, documentaries, articles, and fan tributes. Bills favorite subjects included the war on drugs, the JFK assasnation, the Gulf War, the psychedelic experince and the ironies of organized religion. Always present at the core of Bill's work is a spiritual quest for self-knowledge.
